I got my mom to sit down and share her leg of lamb recipe with me!

My mom loves to read cooking magazines like Taste of Home and then make up her own recipe based on several that she's read. She actually didn't have the leg of lamb recipe written down so it was a trip down memory lane to last Christmas!

One of her secrets is making little cuts in the meat and filling it with minced garlic and rosemary. As the leg cooks, she bastes it every thirty minutes or so with olive oil and the lamb juices

Those little cuts are a great way for the juices to soak into the whole big piece of meat.
