Did you know that we are a volunteer-run organization and receive minimal external funding? We receive no town funding and have no business sponsorship. We are solely funded by vendor fees, and generous grants from Northfield Savings Bank and Farm Credit East that make it possible to offer EBT, debit and credit card processing services. We're primarily sustained by the good will of folks who believe that maintaining affordable access to locally produced foods is important to the Northfield community. But that doesn't cover the costs for our online market platform, or for a market manager to take care of weekly market operations and vendor care. Your contribution helps us keep the vendor fees among the lowest in the state. We hope you'll consider making a contribution to ensure Northfield's Farmers Market's future for many years to come.
