Did you know that we are a volunteer-run organization and receive minimal external funding? We are funded by vendor fees. We are also grateful for generous grants from Northfield Savings Bank and Farm Credit East that make it possible to offer EBT, debit and credit card processing services. We're also wildly fortunate for the generosity of Good Measure Pub & Brewery, who underwrites our summer Market Music Series. Otherwise, we're primarily sustained by the good will of folks who believe that maintaining affordable access to locally produced foods is important to the Northfield community. But that doesn't cover the costs for our online market platform, or for a market manager to take care of weekly market operations and vendor care.
