Our summer market is in person ony and operates from May 19 to October 13 on the Town Common at Depot Square from 3-6 p.m. on Tuesdays.

You MUST complete all three steps to successfully apply.
Membership/Fees
A voting membership is open to all vendors participating in the market that are paid in full and have attended at least 16 markets during the previous 12-month period. Membership confers one vote at the annual meeting, which is held in the spring, following the last winter market.
Attendance
Vendors are expected to vend at all market dates to which they have committed. If unable to attend a market or will be arriving after 3 p.m., the Market Manager must be notified by 10 a.m. on market day.Booth assignments for day vendors may vary from week to week.All vendors must staff their own stands throughout all hours of operation.
Allowable Sale Items
All items must be grown, made, or crafted by the vendor. Vermont products including produce, nursery stock, meat, eggs, dairy, baked goods, prepared foods, and crafts are all eligible for sale at the market.
All vendors must comply with state health guidelines for safe operation.
Set-up & Parking
Vendor Reimbursement for Tokens
Beginning in 2026, the market no longer tracks vendor sales. However, as a courtesy for vendors, the market processescustomers’ credit/debit, Venmo, and EBT/3SquaresVTSNAP purchases of wooden tokens to spend at eligible vendors’stands. Vendors will be reimbursed for those tokens returned to market manager with a reimbursement slip.
Insurance/Liability
The Northfield Farmers Market has a limited liability insurance plan. This insurance does not cover product liability for individual vendors or liability for personal damages caused by your market display. All vendors are responsible for obtaining liability insurance, licensing and/or certification required for products sold.
