Eggs are back! Our hens gift to us for the New Year is they have started laying!
Our hens are managed on pasture in season, rotating to new spots every few days, and we feed them soy-free organic grain. A small consolation to being without snow is that the hens have been grazing widely across the farm - thrilled to be on pasture! Treat yourself to some dark orange yolks from our Marans & Plymouth Barred Rocks.
As they come into laying, eggs may be in limited supply the first few weeks of January.
