Peter Evans Pottery

I make functional, stoneware pottery that is meant to be used. All of my work is fired to a temperature of 2300 degrees in a kiln that I constructed. It takes a day to get the kiln to the right temperature and a day to cool enough to handle the pots. Typically, I fire the kiln about six times a year.

My studio is open by appointment as well as during open studio weekends that occur in the spring and fall. That's a good time to find some really good deals and also to take advantage of my seconds sale.

I am very honored to be a part of the Northfield Farmer's Market and I'm very excited to offer you a variety of pottery to consider. If you don't see what you're looking for let me know as I might have it in my studio or I can take a special order. I'm always ready to take on new challenges.

If it's not possible to pick up pottery that you order in Northfield, let me know and I'll pack it up and send it to you for a small postage fee.

I hope you enjoy using my pottery as much as I do making them.
