We operate as a non-profit, volunteer-run organization with a mission to provide access to affordable, locally grown and made foods and crafts. We work hard to provide local producers affordable access to sell their goods as an important part of Central Vermont's food system.
To achieve this mission, our vendor fees are among the lowest in the state. And because we are the only accessible farmers market for many of our food-insecure and transportation-challenged neighbors, we accept all available federal food benefits programs administered by Vermont, including 3SquaresVermont/SNAP, Crop Cash, and Farm to Family.
Although the Town of Northfield generously hosts our summer market on the Town Common at no cost, we receive no money from the Municipality. We are funded through vendor fees, grants, and sales of market merchandise. Your purchase of these products goes directly to funding our operation. Thank you for your support!
