J & L Haas LLC ( DBA "Rise Up Bakery) is a family owned business located at historic Italian bakery located on 48 Granite street in Barre ( behind Old Labour hall), that was treasured and passionately restored by the local community. Over the last two years it is run by Jim Haas who makes a diverse assortment of European breads and also breads created by the family.
Do you know why our breads are different? Here is why :
- they all hand-crafted, not industrially made
- they have the shortest list of ingredients possible for breads 😇
- they have a long and slow fermentation (each loaf is made over a 48 hour period)😋
- we use nutritious organic whole grain flour in all of our breads 🤩
- they are so wholesome, that could be a meal by themselves 🙃
- they are baked in a wood-fired oven🔥
- they are made with a lot of love and patience ❤️
