Ten years ago this month, the floods of Tropical Storm Irene devastated Northfield and the surrounding community. One year later, Jeanne Cook published “Voices from the Flood,” a moving description of the astonishing and heart-breaking changes in people’s lives that Irene caused. A limited number of these priceless keepsakes exists, with all proceeds going to the Community Emergency Relief Volunteers (CERV) organization that provides food, clothing and emergency financial assistance to our neighbors in need.
